BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide (pentadecapeptide) studied in research into tissue-repair, angiogenic and cell-signalling pathways in experimental models.
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide: a chain of 15 amino acids corresponding to a partial sequence of a protein identified in gastric juice, which is why the literature files it as the "stable gastric pentadecapeptide". It carries no cysteine and no disulfide bond, and is supplied here as a lyophilised research reagent for in-vitro and laboratory use only. The name is earned: where most peptides dissolve on contact with stomach acid, this one is reported stable in it. Not for human or veterinary use.
BPC-157 is not currently a controlled drug in the UK. It is supplied here strictly as a research chemical for laboratory use only, and because it is not licensed as a medicine it cannot lawfully be sold or supplied for human consumption. Purchasers confirm they are acquiring it for legitimate research and are responsible for compliance with their own institutional policies and applicable law. See the full research disclaimer for the complete position.
A vial labelled BPC-157 is not the same as a vial confirmed as BPC-157, so identity and purity should be verifiable rather than assumed. Every Kovalabs batch is released only after independent identity and purity testing (99%+ by HPLC) and ships with a Certificate of Analysis, so the mass and purity in hand can be checked against the documented identifiers (formula C62H98N16O22, CAS 137525-51-0, PubChem CID 9941957) rather than taken on trust. The full chemical data sheet, including SMILES, InChIKey and the molecular structure, is in the Specifications tab; per-batch certificates are in the Testing reports.
The published BPC-157 literature is overwhelmingly in-vitro and animal-model, examined in cultured cells and rodents, and the human evidence is essentially absent. These are research directions, not conclusions: the studies describe what was measured in non-clinical systems, and none of them establishes an outcome in humans. Nothing here describes a use, benefit, dose or effect in people. For the full research picture, the verified citations, and an honest tier-by-tier assessment of how strong the evidence actually is, see the BPC-157 research monograph.
Manufactured by controlled solid-phase peptide synthesis and finished as a white-to-off-white lyophilised solid, with each batch released after independent testing. Researchers working across the tissue-repair set often pair it with TB-500; both sit in the tissue-repair research category.
