DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide) is a synthetic nonapeptide studied in research into neuropeptide signalling and sleep-regulation pathways in experimental models.
DSIP is delta sleep-inducing peptide, a naturally occurring nonapeptide with the amino acid sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu. It carries the molecular formula C35H48N10O15, a molecular weight of 848.8 g/mol and CAS number 62568-57-4 (PubChem CID 68816). Kovalabs supplies it as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only.
The name "delta sleep-inducing peptide" is the historical label given to the molecule when it was first isolated from cerebral venous blood; it describes the original isolation context, not a confirmed effect. It is a research peptide sold for in-vitro and non-clinical model work. It is not a sleep aid, a medicine or a product for human consumption.
DSIP is not a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and is not a UK-licensed medicine. Kovalabs supplies it strictly as a research chemical for laboratory use, not for human or veterinary use and not for consumption. It must not be administered to people or animals. The buyer is responsible for handling, storage and compliance with applicable local rules. See our research disclaimer for the full terms.
Every batch is released only after independent identity and purity testing. Purity is assessed by HPLC at >=99% and identity is confirmed against the expected mass for C35H48N10O15. The verified identifiers (CAS 62568-57-4, PubChem CID 68816, sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu) let researchers cross-check the material against public chemical databases. Certificates of analysis are available at our CoA library.
The published literature examines DSIP in the context of neuroendocrine signalling and sleep-related neurophysiology in laboratory and animal model systems. None of this establishes a benefit, effect or outcome in humans, and DSIP is not a licensed medicine. For the mechanistic detail, isolation history and a referenced summary of the model-system literature, see the DSIP research monograph.
DSIP is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) white to off-white solid. For bench work it is reconstituted with a suitable solvent such as bacteriostatic water, which Kovalabs stocks alongside the peptide catalogue. Store the lyophilised powder at -20C, dry and protected from light; hold reconstituted material at 2-8C. Browse related research materials in our neuropeptides category, including Selank and Semax.

No third-party batch reports have been uploaded for this product yet. Reports are issued by independent labs after each manufacturing batch.
