Cagrilintide is a synthetic long-acting amylin receptor agonist studied in research into amylin-receptor signalling and metabolic-regulation pathways in experimental models.
Cagrilintide (development code AM833) is a long-acting synthetic analog of the peptide hormone amylin. It carries the molecular formula C194H312N54O59S2 with a molecular weight of 4409 g/mol and the CAS number 1415456-99-3. Kovalabs supplies it as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research use only. It is not a medicine and is not for human or veterinary use.
As a structural analog it is studied alongside other amylin and calcitonin-receptor reference compounds. The name CagriSema refers to a separate investigational fixed-combination of cagrilintide with semaglutide; the term identifies that pairing as a molecular combination and does not describe any protocol, effect or outcome. Cagrilintide is also frequently catalogued next to retatrutide as a distinct metabolic-research peptide.
Cagrilintide is not a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and it can be supplied lawfully in the UK as a research chemical. It holds no marketing authorisation from the MHRA, so it is not a licensed medicine and may not be sold or used for human or veterinary consumption. Kovalabs supplies it strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research. The purchaser is responsible for lawful handling under applicable regulations. See our research disclaimer for full terms.
Every batch is released only after independent identity and purity testing. Purity is assessed by HPLC at >= 99% and identity is confirmed against the expected mass. The verified identifiers are CAS 1415456-99-3, molecular formula C194H312N54O59S2, molecular weight 4409 g/mol and PubChem CID 171397054. Not all material sold under this name is equivalent: a current Certificate of Analysis is the only way to confirm what a vial actually contains. Batch certificates are available on our CoA page.
The published literature investigates cagrilintide as a tool compound in amylin and calcitonin-receptor signalling and in metabolic-pathway model systems. These are pre-clinical, in-vitro and animal-model observations. None of this establishes a benefit, effect or outcome in humans, and cagrilintide is not a licensed medicine. For a referenced, study-design-only overview of the amylin-receptor research area, see our cagrilintide and amylin research monograph.
Cagrilintide is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) white to off-white solid. For laboratory handling it is typically reconstituted with a compatible solvent such as bacteriostatic water before use in non-clinical assays. Store the lyophilised powder at -20C, kept dry and protected from light; hold reconstituted material at 2-8C. Browse the full metabolic research category or related reference peptides including retatrutide, MOTS-c and AOD-9604. All items are for laboratory research use only.

No third-party batch reports have been uploaded for this product yet. Reports are issued by independent labs after each manufacturing batch.

Store unreconstituted vials at −20°C for long-term, or refrigerated at 2-8°C for short-term use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial; gently swirl to dissolve. Do not shake.
Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2-8°C and use within 2-4 weeks. Discard if cloudy, discoloured, or particulate.
