SS-31 is a synthetic, cell-permeable tetrapeptide with the sequence D-Arg-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2, also known as elamipretide and MTP-131. It carries the molecular formula C32H49N9O5, a molecular weight of 639.8 g/mol, CAS number 736992-21-5 and PubChem CID 11764719.
